Ingredients
  

  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley

  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cut the ends off the onion. Use a melon baller or spoon to scoop out the center, about halfway down.
  • Place the onion in the center of a large piece of aluminum foil on a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Mix the spices together. Scoop half of the mixture into the onion and sprinkle the rest across the surface. Pour melted butter into the center of the onion.
  • Bring the sides of the foil together to create a packet.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes.
  • Remove the onion from the oven, carefully open the foil, and serve immediately.
