Dalgona Candy Recipe (Squid Game Candy)

Ingredients
  

2 tablespoons sugar

A pinch of baking soda

Instructions
 

  • Heat the sugar in a small non-stick pan or ladle over low heat, stirring constantly with a skewer or chopstick until fully melted and golden.
  • Remove from heat and quickly mix in a pinch of baking soda. Stir until the mixture foams and turns light golden.
  • Pour the mixture onto a parchment-lined surface or silicone mat.
  • Press the candy flat using a greased plate or spatula.
  • Use a cookie cutter to press your desired shape (star, circle, umbrella, etc.) into the candy before it hardens—just like in Squid Game!
  • Let it cool, then try the fun challenge of cutting out the shape without breaking the candy.
