Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Mash the Bananas & Mix Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, mash 3 ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
Add Dry Ingredients
Sift in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gently fold everything together using a spatula—don’t overmix! If adding nuts or chocolate chips, fold them in now.
Bake the Banana Bread
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool & Serve
Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
