Instructions
Prepare the Chicken:
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
If you prefer a lightly crispy coating, toss the chicken pieces in flour and shake off any excess.
Cook the Chicken:
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and fully cooked (about 4-5 minutes per side). Remove the chicken and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low and add the remaining butter.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add honey, soy sauce, and vinegar to the skillet. Stir and simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combine Chicken and Sauce:
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
If desired, sprinkle chili flakes for some heat.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions.
Serve hot over steamed rice, mashed potatoes, or your favorite veggies.
