Prepare the Rice:
Cook rice according to the package instructions or use leftover rice to make it quicker.
Warm the Tortillas:
Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 20-30 seconds to soften.
Assemble the Burritos:
On each tortilla, place a few spoonfuls of the cooked meat, followed by a scoop of rice, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, and fresh toppings like lettuce and cilantro.
Roll and Serve:
Carefully fold the sides of the tortilla inwards and roll it tightly from the bottom up. Serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra zing.
Notes
Budget-Friendly Options: Use beans (pinto or black beans) in place of meat to make a vegetarian version and save money.
Customization: Feel free to add any additional toppings like guacamole, jalapeƱos, or hot sauce to suit your taste.
